The Philou LAB is the laboratory through which our ideas for improving the quality of life of families living with a child with multiple disabilities are tested. Since 2017, we have started and collaborated on the creation of a dozen initiatives, some of which have been translated into programs at the Centre Philou and beyond.

“Recommendations for optimal service provision to polyimpaired children and their families” is a joint research project with researchers and professionals from the Centre Philou, McGill University, the Shriners Hospital and the Université de Montréal. It was presented at the Kids Brain Health Network Conference in Ottawa. The second phase of the research will continue in 2020.
